Crock Pot Weight Watchers Baked Apples Recipe

These delicious Crock Pot Weight Watchers baked apples are simple and indulgent. This baked apples recipe is perfect for family dinner night or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 large baking apples
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 8 tsp Truvia Natural sweetener with brown sugar blend
  • 1/2 cup uncooked old fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce, or the apple you scoop out pureed in food processor
  • 2 Tablespoons cinnamon
  • 4 Tablespoons Whipped Cream
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Using a melon baller or paring knife, hollow out the apples leaving about 1/2 inch wall. (if you want to add any scooped out apple bits to the filling mixture, go ahead)
  2. Combine the flour, truvia, oats and cinnamon together slowly add just enough apple sauce to make the mixture crumbly.
  3. Place the apples in the crock pot.
  4. Portion out the oat mixture into the apple cavities, and then pour the water into the bottom of the crockpot.
  5. Place the lid on the crockpot and cook on high for 2 hours, until the apples are softened.
  6. Serve plain or with a dollop of light whipped cream and sprinkle of cinnamon.
  7. Enjoy!
