Add all the ingredients to your blender and pulse for 1-2 minutes until ingredients start to break down.

Blend on high for another 30 seconds to a minute, until there are no chunks left and everything is completely smooth.

Serve immediately and top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon and crushed pecans/walnuts or granola.

Notes on making the perfect apple pie smoothie:
If you don’t have apples, replace the apples with 2 cups of apple sauce instead.
If you can’t find granny smith apples, any other type of apple will work. However, the product may be a bit sweeter in the end. Granny smith apples lend the best flavor.
Don’t have apple juice? That’s ok! Just replace with more of your milk of choice. You’ll use a total of 1 cup of milk instead of ¾ cup.
If you want to add in protein powder, you may need to adjust the amount of milk. Add up to ½ cup more of your milk of choice.

Another fun idea is to swap out the milk for a premier protein drink (or any other prepackaged protein shake)! This is a great way to get in protein and vitamins without that signature powdery taste you get with protein powder.
If the smoothie is too thick, you can add additional almond milk.
I hope you enjoy the great tastes of fall with this Apple Pie Smoothie.

I love fall, too and am already getting psyched. This smoothie is wonderful, and I can’t wait to try it! I didn’t think to soak the oats overnight as when I’ve used them in smoothies it wasn’t as good – now I know what to do. I think this will be my fav and it will be a good one to make for company, too.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy the smoothie and have a great fall!
