McDonald's Is Introducing 5 New Menu Items For A Limited Time

McDonald’s is adding a burst of sweet heat to its menu with a brand-new lineup of limited-time items.

While fast food chains don’t always move quickly on flavor crazes, the staying power of the “sweet and spicy” trend has made room for this bold rollout.

Now, the golden arches are diving in with their own take: a Hot Honey Sauce and several menu favorites featuring the fiery-sweet combo.

One Sauce, So Many Ways To Try It

At the center of the launch is McDonald’s new Hot Honey Sauce, a blend of honey sweetness, peppery heat, and a touch of tangy vinegar.

It’ll be available as a dipping option for classics like Chicken McNuggets, McCrispy Strips, fries, and more. But that’s just the start.

The sauce is also being drizzled onto four menu items: the Sausage Egg Biscuit, McCrispy Sandwich, Bacon McCrispy Sandwich, and the Snack Wrap.

Since some of those items span breakfast through dinner, fans can get their hot honey fix at almost any time of day.

A Closer Look At The Hot Honey Lineup

Each sandwich brings its own twist.

The Hot Honey Sausage Egg Biscuit layers sausage and folded egg on a buttery biscuit with a drizzle of the new sauce.

The Hot Honey McCrispy Sandwich pairs a crispy chicken filet with jalapeños, lettuce, mayo, and the sweet-heat topping on a soft roll, while the bacon version adds smoky applewood-smoked bacon to the mix.

Rounding things out, the Hot Honey Snack Wrap gets the same spicy-sweet drizzle alongside cheese and lettuce.
